Maritime
For shipowners, agents and ship brokers, we build IT infrastructure that is secure, efficient and compliant, both in the office and on board.
In shipping, IT means an office that is open around the clock
Shipping offices work across time zones; the circular emails going out from the broking desk, operations correspondence and the link to the vessel cannot afford a moment’s interruption. An email domain landing on a blocklist, or a server stopping, turns directly into lost business.
On the vessel side, limited bandwidth, systems that are out of reach for long periods and the IMO’s cyber risk management requirements come into play. We address office and vessel infrastructure together and document the work so that it can be presented in an audit.
Our maritime IT support covers the circular email system, office infrastructure and vessel cyber security for shipping companies, ship agents and shipbroking offices.
Scope
Maritime IT support solutions
Circular email infrastructure
We build and manage the email infrastructure that delivers the high-volume circulars of broking and operations teams to their recipients without being blocklisted.
Office network and systems infrastructure
We build the network, servers and backups of owners’, agents’ and brokers’ offices and maintain them regularly.
Ship-to-shore connectivity
We build a secure setup over your existing connection that uses bandwidth efficiently, and take on backup and remote support.
IMO cyber risk management
We prepare the cyber risk assessment, procedures and records in line with the safety management system.
Vessel network segmentation
We separate the crew, business and operational system networks from one another.
Awareness training
We give short training sessions for office staff and crew, focused on fake payment instructions and phishing.
Artificial intelligence
Using AI the right way in this industry
In shipping, the volume of correspondence is high and the margin for error is low. AI adds speed; responsibility for the commitment and the payment stays with a person.
Where AI helps
- Summarising charter parties, fixture recaps and long email chains
- Classifying and matching circulars and position lists
- Translation and drafting support in multilingual correspondence
Legal responsibility and risks
- Payment instruction fraud using AI-generated fake emails and voice recordings is rising; any change of bank details must be verified through a second channel.
- Uploading commercial terms and counterparty details to open tools can breach the confidentiality obligations in contracts.
- A commitment given on the basis of a summary or translation prepared by AI binds the company; the final text must always be read by an authorised person.
Using AI does not remove legal responsibility: Turkish data protection law (KVKK), confidentiality duties, intellectual property and sector regulations all still apply. These points are for information only; we carry out the legal assessment together with our partner law firm. See AI Integrations for details.

Frequently asked questions
Maritime: frequently asked questions
Our circular emails end up in spam. Can you fix that?
Yes. We put the domain authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) in order, build the sending infrastructure to suit the volume and monitor sender reputation.
Do you provide service on board?
We work on board during planned port calls and provide remote support while the vessel is under way.
What do you provide for audits?
Together we prepare a set of documents that can be presented in an audit: the cyber risk assessment, inventory, procedures and implementation records.
Can you work with our existing connectivity provider?
Yes. We work independently of the connectivity provider and set up the configuration that makes the most efficient use of your existing link.
