Tourism and Hospitality
For hotels, holiday villages and boutique properties: one team for guest Wi-Fi, property management software, identity reporting and seasonal staffing.
The comfort guests see rests on the infrastructure behind it
In a hotel, technology never faces the guest directly, yet it is the first thing noticed the moment it stops working. If there is no connection in the room, if the front desk system will not open, or if rooms cannot be pushed to the online channels, the problem turns into a guest review and lost occupancy within minutes.
Our IT support for hospitality businesses treats the whole property as a single infrastructure: the guest network, the front desk, the restaurant, housekeeping, security and accounting. We build it before the season opens and stay with you through it.
IT support for tourism and hospitality businesses; guest Wi-Fi with legally compliant logging, property management system (PMS) infrastructure, identity reporting integration, camera and POS networks, data protection compliance and outsourced IT for seasonal teams.
Sound familiar?
The six problems we see most often in hospitality
If even two of these sound familiar, the risk of an unexpected outage mid-season is high.
Guest Wi-Fi is a source of complaints
Coverage differs between the lobby and the rooms, and connections drop at busy hours; internet is the first thing guests write about in reviews.
Legal logging is undefined
Every property that gives guests internet access falls under Turkish law no. 5651; how the records are kept and for how long is undefined in most places.
Identity reporting is done by hand
Reporting of guests staying at the property is left to the front desk; a single day’s lapse creates a risk of administrative penalties.
The hotel software sits on one server with no backup
Front desk, reservations and accounting all depend on the same machine; when it fails, the property goes back to pen and paper.
Seasonal staff accounts are not tracked
Dozens of accounts opened at the start of the season are not closed at the end; a departed employee keeps access for months.
On-site IT capacity falls short
A full-time role is hard to justify at the size of the property, and where a team exists it cannot keep up at the height of the season.
Scope
What our IT support for hospitality businesses covers
Guest Wi-Fi and hotspot
A coverage plan for rooms, lobby, pool and meeting areas; a captive portal with authentication by room number and surname or by SMS.
Compliant access log management
Guest and staff access records kept, time-stamped and retained as Turkish law requires.
Property management system (PMS) infrastructure
The server, backup and access management for front desk, reservation and channel manager systems; we deal with the software vendor on your behalf.
Identity reporting integration
Guest reports generated automatically from the hotel software, with the daily submission monitored.
Property network, cameras and POS
Restaurant and bar POS terminals, the camera system, door locks and the phone system all running securely on the same network.
Seasonal staffing and outsourced IT
Bulk account creation at the start of the season and closure at the end; remote helpdesk and periodic on-site support instead of an in-house IT employee.
Regulation
What to watch in hospitality
IT decisions in tourism are made alongside several rules. The points below describe the Turkish framework and are for information only.
Law no. 5651
Properties offering internet access to guests count as mass-use providers; access records must be kept and their integrity preserved.
Identity reporting duty
Under the Identity Notification Law (no. 1774), guests staying at the property and employees must be reported; the notification can also be made electronically.
Guest data and KVKK
Passport and ID images, reservation history and contact details are personal data; the retention period and access rights must be in writing.
Camera recordings
Recordings in common areas require their own privacy notice and retention rules, and access to them must be logged.
Payment data
Holding card details in plain form in the reservation file creates risk; payment data must be handled separately.
Marketing messages
Campaign messages sent to guests count as commercial electronic messages; consent and opt-out run through the national message management system.

Artificial intelligence
Using AI the right way in this industry
In hospitality, AI does not replace the guest relationship; it speeds up the writing that repeats and the reporting.
Where AI helps
- Classifying guest reviews and summarising recurring complaints
- First-reply drafts for reservation and information requests, with translation support for multilingual correspondence
- Draft text for occupancy, revenue and channel performance reports
- Preparing promotional copy and room descriptions
Legal responsibility and risks
- Entering guest names, passport details and stay history into open AI tools risks a personal data breach.
- Sending automated replies without review can turn into a commitment on price or availability that does not hold.
- Fully automating review responses makes the property’s voice artificial and repetitive.
- Service promises in AI-generated promotional copy are binding under consumer law.
Using AI does not remove legal responsibility: Turkish data protection law (KVKK), confidentiality duties, intellectual property and sector regulations all still apply. These points are for information only; we carry out the legal assessment together with our partner law firm. See AI Integrations for details.

Frequently asked questions
Tourism and Hospitality: frequently asked questions
Do we have to change our existing hotel software?
No. We work independently of the software: we manage its server, backup, access and integrations, while the vendor continues to support the application itself.
We operate seasonally. Do we need a year-round contract?
No. We scale the scope to the season: broader support at peak, and maintenance and monitoring outside it.
Do we need an IT employee on site?
In most properties, no. We work through a remote helpdesk and planned site visits, and provide on-site staff for the periods when you need it.
Do you build a separate system for guest Wi-Fi?
We separate the guest network from the staff network. The guest side runs a captive portal and compliant logging; the staff side runs corporate security rules.
Could you make the identity reports for us?
The duty belongs to the property. We make sure the reports are generated automatically from the hotel software and that submission continues without interruption, and we raise an alert when it does not.
