Outsourced IT Staff

An IT team without the headcount: on-site staff on set days of the week, remote support for the rest. Scales with your needs and your season.

IT capacity is measured by need, not by headcount

Building an IT team does not produce the same result in every business. Some organisations have no IT staff at all; others do, but that person is left alone at peak times or on specialist matters. In both cases the load grows at the least convenient moment.

Outsourced IT staff lets you size the capacity to the need: the person working on site is there on agreed days, with our whole team behind them. Where you already have an IT team we share their load; where you do not, we take the place of the headcount. Leave, sickness and staff changes stop being your problem.

Outsourced IT staff, an external IT employee, on-site IT support and a remote helpdesk brought together in a single contract.

Sound familiar?

We set this up most often in these situations

If even one sounds familiar, the outsourced model will ease both your budget and your continuity.

IT knowledge sits with one person

When the person who knows the organisation best is away or leaves, work stops; passwords, configurations and past records were never written down.

Headcount and workload do not match

The workload does not justify a full-time role, yet nothing works with no one at all. The right middle ground is hard to find.

The skills do not match

Someone hired for user support is also expected to handle servers, security and compliance; that combination is rare in one person.

Seasonal and project peaks

A season in tourism, a shift pattern in manufacturing, a new site in construction: the peaks move, the headcount does not.

Recruitment and handover overhead

Adverts, interviews, probation and then handover on departure; each cycle takes months.

No cover for continuity

When the current person is ill or on annual leave, there is no equivalent colleague to step in.

Scope

What outsourced IT staff covers

On-site staff

An IT person in your office on agreed days of the week, who knows your organisation. We set the number of days together, based on need.

A team behind them

The person on site is not alone: our whole team backs them on servers, networks, security and compliance.

Remote helpdesk

On the days we are not on site: tracked requests, remote connection and a committed response time.

Cover for leave and absence

Providing someone when your person is on leave or off sick is our responsibility; the service does not stop.

Handover and documentation

Passwords, inventory, contracts and completed work are kept in the company archive; the work stays with the organisation, not with one person.

A scope that scales

More days at seasonal peaks, fewer in quiet periods, with extra people added during projects.

How we work

How the arrangement runs

With outsourced staff, uncertainty is the biggest risk, so we put the scope and the responsibilities in writing from the start.

Fixed days and hours

Which day and which hours are covered on site is written into the contract; there are no surprises.

A written job description

What the person on site takes on, and what the wider team handles, is defined up front.

Confidentiality and access

A confidentiality agreement, individual accounts and role-based permissions, with actions logged.

A monthly report

Closed requests, response times, recurring problems and recommendations are gathered in a monthly report.

Handover when the person changes

If the person on site changes, the handover is our obligation; the knowledge of your organisation stays with us and nothing starts from scratch.

Audit and compliance

The records, permission lists and contracts asked for in data protection and customer audits are kept ready.

The arrangement is an IT service for defined work, not the supply of labour. We structure the contract with our partner law firm for each customer.

How we work

A predictable process in four steps

We follow the same method on every project, so you know from the start what is being done, when and why.

01

Discovery

We review your current setup, needs and risks, on site or remotely.

02

Planning

We present a clear roadmap covering priorities, scope and timeline.

03

Implementation

We complete the transition without disrupting your work, documenting every step.

04

Ongoing management

We keep improving through monitoring, reporting and regular reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Outsourced IT Staff: frequently asked questions

How many days a week do you provide on-site staff?

We scale from one day to five. In small offices one or two days a week is usually enough, with remote support continuing for the rest.

Does the person become our employee?

No. They stay on our team, and their insurance, leave, training and continuity are our responsibility. You buy the service without carrying the headcount.

What happens when the person takes leave?

We provide the cover. Because the knowledge of your organisation sits with us rather than with one individual, the handover is not a problem.

We already have an IT employee. Can we still work with you?

Yes. In that case we share the load and stand behind them on specialist matters such as servers, security and compliance.

We are seasonal. Do we need a year-round contract?

No. We raise the number of days at peak and drop back to maintenance and monitoring when it is quiet.
